Ceylon Investors Ecosystem: Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Ceylon Investors community! These Terms and Conditions govern all interactions and content within the Ceylon Investors ecosystem, including the YouTube channel, the official CEIN website, and all associated WhatsApp communities (including announcement channels and discussion groups). By engaging with any part of this ecosystem, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By subscribing to the YouTube channel, using the website, or joining any of the WhatsApp groups, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must cease all engagement with the Ceylon Investors ecosystem immediately.

2. Purpose of the Ecosystem

The Ceylon Investors ecosystem provides a platform for general, peer-to-peer discussion and information sharing on personal finance and investment. The content and discussions are for informational and educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional financial advice. All members are encouraged to conduct their own independent research and consult with a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions based on any content shared in the ecosystem, created by the contributors of the Ceylon Investors Ecosystem or the general members of the Ecosystem.

3. Content and Moderation Guidelines

To maintain a respectful and legally compliant environment, all content and messages must adhere to the following guidelines:

Allowed Content:

• Content authored by any licensed stockbroker listed on the CSE.lk website, provided the author is explicitly mentioned.
• Content authored by the Securities & Exchange Commission, Colombo Stock Exchange, Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
• Your own analysis, clearly identified as such.
• AI-Generated Content: Any content created using artificial intelligence (AI) tools or models will be treated as the posting member’s own analysis. Members are encouraged to include a clear notice or disclaimer indicating that the content was generated, in whole or in part, by AI, so that other members are aware of its origin.

Mandatory Requirements:

• The author of any shared content must be explicitly mentioned in the message or the content itself.
• If you are sharing your own content and/or analysis, you must clearly state, "This is my own analysis and not an investment advice" or a similar statement.

Allowed Medium:

• Only content in written format is allowed. Use of voice messages and/or group conference calls are not allowed. Initiating such activities are treated as serious violations and the initiators will be removed without a notice.

Enforcement:

• If content is posted without proper attribution, administrators have the right to delete it without notice and issue a warning.
• First Violation: A private warning will be issued to the member.
• Second Violation: The member will be permanently removed from all parts of the Ceylon Investors ecosystem without any further notice or warning.

4. Conduct and SEC Act Compliance

To comply with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka Act, No. 19 of 2021, the following conduct is strictly prohibited across the entire ecosystem:

• Market Manipulation: Do not engage in any activity that could be construed as market manipulation. This includes, but is not limited to, spreading false, inaccurate, or misleading information about any security with the intent to influence its price.
• Insider Trading: You are prohibited from disclosing or using any material non-public information (insider information) that could affect the value of a security. Sharing such information is a serious offense under the SEC Act.
• Investment Advice: Do not give or solicit specific investment recommendations or personalized financial advice. This platform is for general discussion only.
• Fraudulent Practices: Engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive practice in connection with the purchase, sale, or exchange of securities is strictly forbidden.
• Harassment and Disrespect: All members must maintain a respectful and civil tone. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or any form of disrespectful communication towards others will not be tolerated.
• Serious Violations: Based on the judgment of the administrators, severe violations may be reported to the SEC for further investigation. In such an event, all relevant information will be shared with the appropriate government agencies as required by the law of the country.

5. Prohibited Promotional Content and Responsibility

Promotional Content: Any content that falls outside the scope of permitted topics under Section 3.1 of this document will be considered prohibited promotional content, regardless of whether it appears promotional in nature. Members must not share prohibited content, unsolicited advertisements, promotional material, or links for any purpose. This includes promoting personal products, services, or social media channels without prior written approval from an administrator. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of membership, and the member will be removed without prior notice.

Responsibility: All content shared within the Ecosystem by the general members is the sole responsibility of the member who posts it. Before posting, each member must ensure the accuracy, authenticity, and reliability of the information being shared. It is the posting member’s duty to verify facts, sources, and any claims made in their content. Sharing material that violates Section 3 or Section 4 of this document—whether done knowingly, negligently, or without fully understanding the content—will be treated as a serious breach of these Terms & Conditions. Lack of awareness or intent will not be considered a valid excuse for non-compliance. The posting member bears full responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of AI-generated content with these Terms & Conditions, as they are the one publishing it within the Group.(read together with AI-Generated Content in section 3.1 of this document)

Verification of Sources: Members must ensure that all content they share is obtained from reliable and legitimate sources, such as the official websites, verified social media accounts, or authorized communication channels (e.g., verified WhatsApp channels) of the relevant entity. Members are strictly prohibited from blindly forwarding content they have received from third parties without first verifying its authenticity. False or misleading materials—especially those that misuse the brand names, logos, or likeness of credible organizations—are common and may appear genuine. Regardless of the apparent credibility of the source, the member who posts the content within the Group bears full responsibility for its accuracy, legitimacy, and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

6. Intellectual Property Rights of Ceylon Investors

All logos, brand identifiers, and visual assets of Ceylon Investors are the exclusive property of Ceylon Investors and are protected under applicable intellectual property and copyright laws. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or imitation of these assets is strictly prohibited. All content created and authored by Ceylon Investors remains the sole property of Ceylon Investors. Such content is protected by copyright and bears exclusive rights. Members are strictly prohibited from:

• Sharing, redistributing, or transmitting Ceylon Investors’ authored content to any third party without prior written consent.
• Modifying, altering, editing, or creating derivative works based on Ceylon Investors’ content.
• Using Ceylon Investors’ name, brand elements, or authored content for promotional or commercial purposes without authorization.

An exception is granted for the sharing of publicly available YouTube videos published on the official Ceylon Investors channel, provided such sharing does not involve altering the content or presenting it in a misleading manner. Content published within other platforms, systems, or channels of the Ceylon Investors ecosystem—outside of the official YouTube channel—is strictly prohibited from redistribution, regardless of intent or purpose. A breach of this section constitutes a serious violation of these Terms & Conditions and may result in immediate removal from the Group, without prior warning, along with potential legal action to protect Ceylon Investors’ intellectual property rights.

7. Usage of Ceylon Investors Properties

The general public is welcome to access and consume the publicly available intellectual properties of Ceylon Investors—including, but not limited to, educational videos, articles, and other publicly released materials—for the sole purpose of enhancing their personal knowledge and understanding of finance, investments, and related topics. Such usage is permitted strictly for personal, non-commercial, and educational purposes only. Any form of reproduction, redistribution, modification, or adaptation of these properties—whether in part or in whole—for commercial gain, public presentation, or integration into third-party platforms is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Ceylon Investors. This permission does not grant any rights to claim ownership, authorship, or endorsement of the materials, nor does it authorize the use of Ceylon Investors’ brand identifiers, logos, or proprietary content in a manner that may mislead others or create an impression of affiliation. Any unauthorized use of Ceylon Investors’ properties, including infringement of copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights, will be treated as a serious violation and may result in legal action in addition to immediate revocation of access to all Ceylon Investors platforms.

8. Finality of Admin Actions

The administrators' decisions regarding content, membership, and enforcement of these terms are final. By remaining a member of the community, you accept that these decisions are binding.

9. Disclaimer of Liability

The administrators and the owners of the "Ceylon Investors" brand are not responsible for any financial losses, damages, or liabilities that may arise from content or discussions within this ecosystem. All members are responsible for their own investment decisions and any actions taken based on information or opinions shared.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, including but not limited to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka Act, No. 19 of 2021.

1. නියම පිළිගැනීම

YouTube නාලිකාවට දායක වීමෙන්, වෙබ් අඩවිය භාවිත කිරීමෙන්, හෝ WhatsApp සමූහයන්ට සම්බන්ධ වීමෙන්, ඔබ මෙම නියම සහ කොන්දේසිවලට බැඳී සිටීමට එකඟ වේ. ඔබ මෙම නියමවල කිසියම් කොටසකට එකඟ නොවන්නේ නම්, ඔබ වහාම සෙයිලොන් ඉන්වෙස්ටර්ස් පරිසර පද්ධතිය සමඟ ඇති සියලුම සම්බන්ධතා නවත්විය යුතුය.

2. පරිසර පද්ධතියේ අරමුණ

සෙයිලොන් ඉන්වෙස්ටර්ස් පරිසර පද්ධතිය පෞද්ගලික මූල්‍ය සහ ආයෝජන පිළිබඳ සාමාන්‍ය, සාමාජිකයාගෙන් සාමාජිකයාට සාකච්ඡා සහ තොරතුරු බෙදාගැනීම සඳහා වේදිකාවක් සපයයි. අන්තර්ගතය සහ සාකච්ඡා තොරතුරු දැනගැනීමේ සහ අධ්‍යාපනික අරමුණු සඳහා පමණක් වන අතර, ඒවා වෘත්තීය මූල්‍ය උපදෙස් වෙනුවට ආදේශකයක් නොවේ. මෙම පරිසර පද්ධතිය තුළ බෙදාගන්නා ඕනෑම අන්තර්ගතයක් මත පදනම්ව ආයෝජන තීරණ ගැනීමට පෙර, සියලුම සාමාජිකයන් තමන්ගේම ස්වාධීන පර්යේෂණ සිදු කිරීමට සහ සුදුසුකම්ලත් මූල්‍ය උපදේශකයෙකුගෙන් උපදෙස් ලබා ගැනීමට උනන්දු කරනු ලැබේ.

3. අන්තර්ගත සහ පාලන මාර්ගෝපදේශ

ගෞරවනීය සහ නීත්‍යානුකූල පරිසරයක් පවත්වා ගැනීම සඳහා, සියලුම අන්තර්ගත සහ පණිවිඩ පහත සඳහන් මාර්ගෝපදේශ අනුගමනය කළ යුතුය:

අවසර ලත් අන්තර්ගත:

• CSE.lk වෙබ් අඩවියේ ලැයිස්තුගත කර ඇති බලපත්‍රලත් තැරැව්කරුවෙකු විසින් රචනා කරන ලද අන්තර්ගත, කතුවරයා පැහැදිලිව සඳහන් කර ඇත්නම්.
• ශ්‍රී ලංකා සුරැකුම්පත් හා විනිමය කොමිෂන් සභාව, කොළඹ කොටස් හුවමාරුව, ශ්‍රී ලංකා මහ බැංකුව විසින් රචනා කරන ලද අන්තර්ගත.
• ඔබගේම විශ්ලේෂණය, එය පැහැදිලිව හඳුනාගෙන ඇත්නම්.
• AI-නිර්මිත අන්තර්ගත: කෘතිම බුද්ධිය (AI) මෙවලම් හෝ මාදිලි භාවිතයෙන් නිර්මාණය කරන ලද ඕනෑම අන්තර්ගතයක් පළ කරන සාමාජිකයාගේම විශ්ලේෂණයක් ලෙස සලකනු ලැබේ. අන්තර්ගතය සම්පූර්ණයෙන් හෝ අර්ධ වශයෙන් AI මඟින් ජනනය කර ඇති බව පැහැදිලිව දැක්වෙන දැනුම්දීමක් හෝ වගකීම් රහිත ප්‍රකාශයක් ඇතුළත් කිරීමට සාමාජිකයන්ට උනන්දු කරනු ලැබේ.

අනිවාර්ය අවශ්‍යතා:

• බෙදාගන්නා ඕනෑම අන්තර්ගතයක කතුවරයා පණිවිඩයේ හෝ අන්තර්ගතයේ පැහැදිලිව සඳහන් කළ යුතුය.
• ඔබ ඔබගේම විශ්ලේෂණයක් බෙදාගන්නේ නම්, ඔබ "මෙය මගේම විශ්ලේෂණයකි, ආයෝජන උපදෙසක් නොවේ" හෝ ඒ හා සමාන ප්‍රකාශයක් පැහැදිලිව සඳහන් කළ යුතුය.

අවසර ලත් මාධ්‍ය:

• ලිඛිත ආකෘතියෙන් පමණක් අන්තර්ගතය අවසර ඇත. හඬ පණිවිඩ සහ/හෝ සමූහ සාකච්ඡා ඇමතුම් භාවිතය තහනම්ය. එවැනි ක්‍රියාකාරකම් ආරම්භ කිරීම බරපතල උල්ලංඝනයක් ලෙස සලකනු ලබන අතර, ආරම්භකයින් දැනුම්දීමකින් තොරව ඉවත් කරනු ලැබේ.

බලාත්මක කිරීම:

• නිසි කතෘත්වය සඳහන් නොකර අන්තර්ගතයක් පළ කළහොත්, පරිපාලකයින්ට එය දැනුම්දීමකින් තොරව මකා දැමීමට සහ අනතුරු ඇඟවීමක් නිකුත් කිරීමට අයිතිය ඇත.
• පළමු වරද: සාමාජිකයාට පෞද්ගලික අනතුරු ඇඟවීමක් කරනු ලැබේ.
• දෙවන වරද: කිසිදු වැඩිදුර දැනුම්දීමකින් හෝ අනතුරු ඇඟවීමකින් තොරව සාමාජිකයා සෙයිලොන් ඉන්වෙස්ටර්ස් පරිසර පද්ධතියේ සියලුම කොටස්වලින් ස්ථිරවම ඉවත් කරනු ලැබේ.

4. හැසිරීම සහ සුරැකුම්පත් හා විනිමය කොමිෂන් සභා පනතට අනුකූල වීම

ශ්‍රී ලංකා සුරැකුම්පත් හා විනිමය කොමිෂන් සභා පනත, අංක 19, 2021 ට අනුකූල වීම සඳහා, පහත සඳහන් හැසිරීම් පරිසර පද්ධතිය පුරා දැඩි ලෙස තහනම් වේ:

• වෙළෙඳපොළ හසුරුවීම (Market Manipulation): වෙළෙඳපොළ හැසිරවීමක් ලෙස අර්ථ දැක්විය හැකි කිසිදු ක්‍රියාවක නිරත නොවන්න. මෙයට කිසියම් සුරැකුම්පතක මිලට බලපෑම් කිරීමේ අරමුණින් අසත්‍ය, සාවද්‍ය හෝ නොමඟ යවන සුළු තොරතුරු ප්‍රචාරය කිරීම ඇතුළත් වේ.
• අභ්‍යන්තර වෙළෙඳාම (Insider Trading): සුරැකුම්පතක වටිනාකමට බලපෑම් කළ හැකි කිසියම් මහජනතාවට ප්‍රසිද්ධ නැති වැදගත් තොරතුරු (අභ්‍යන්තර තොරතුරු) හෙළි කිරීම හෝ භාවිත කිරීම ඔබට තහනම්ය. එවැනි තොරතුරු බෙදාගැනීම සුරැකුම්පත් හා විනිමය කොමිෂන් සභා පනත යටතේ බරපතල වරදකි.
• ආයෝජන උපදෙස්: අනෙකුත් සාමාජිකයන්ට විශේෂිත ආයෝජන නිර්දේශ හෝ පුද්ගලික මූල්‍ය උපදෙස් ලබා නොදෙන්න, එසේ ලබා ගැනීමට ඉල්ලීම් ද නොකරන්න. මෙම සමූහය සාමාන්‍ය සාකච්ඡා සඳහා පමණි.
• වංචනික ක්‍රියා: සුරැකුම්පත් මිලදී ගැනීම, විකිණීම හෝ හුවමාරු කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් කිසියම් වංචනික හෝ රැවටිලිකාර ක්‍රියාවක නිරත වීම සපුරා තහනම් වේ.
• හිරිහැර කිරීම සහ අගෞරවනීය හැසිරීම: සියලුම සාමාජිකයන් ගෞරවනීය සහ සිවිල් ආචාර විධි පවත්වාගත යුතුය. හිරිහැර කිරීම, වෛරී කතා, අඩන්තේට්ටම් කිරීම, හෝ වෙනත් සාමාජිකයන්ට අගෞරවනීය ලෙස සන්නිවේදනය කිරීම කිසිසේත්ම ඉවසා නොසිටිනු ඇත.
• බරපතල උල්ලංඝනයන්: පරිපාලකයින්ගේ තීරණය අනුව, බරපතල උල්ලංඝනයන් තවදුරටත් විමර්ශන සඳහා සුරැකුම්පත් හා විනිමය කොමිෂන් සභාවට වාර්තා කළ හැක. එවැනි අවස්ථාවක, රටේ නීතියට අනුව අවශ්‍ය සියලුම අදාළ තොරතුරු අදාළ රජයේ ආයතන සමඟ බෙදාගනු ඇත.

5. තහනම් කරන ලද ප්‍රවර්ධන අන්තර්ගත සහ වගකීම

ප්‍රවර්ධන අන්තර්ගත: මෙම ලේඛනයේ 3.1 වන කොටස යටතේ අවසර ලත් මාතෘකා වලින් පිටත ඇති ඕනෑම අන්තර්ගතයක්, එය ස්වභාවයෙන්ම ප්‍රවර්ධන ලෙස පෙනෙන්නේ නැති වුවත්, තහනම් ප්‍රවර්ධන අන්තර්ගතයක් ලෙස සලකනු ලැබේ. සාමාජිකයන් තහනම් අන්තර්ගත, ඉල්ලීමකින් තොර වෙළෙඳ දැන්වීම්, ප්‍රවර්ධන ද්‍රව්‍ය හෝ සබැඳි කිසිදු අරමුණක් සඳහා බෙදා නොගත යුතුය. මෙයට පරිපාලකයෙකුගෙන් පූර්ව ලිඛිත අනුමැතියකින් තොරව පුද්ගලික නිෂ්පාදන, සේවා හෝ සමාජ මාධ්‍ය නාලිකා ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීම ඇතුළත් වේ. මෙම ප්‍රතිපත්තිය උල්ලංඝනය කළහොත් සාමාජිකත්වය තත්කාලයෙන් අවසන් කරනු ලබන අතර, පෙර අනතුරු ඇඟවීමකින් තොරව එම සාමාජිකයා ඉවත් කරනු ලබයි.

වගකීම: පරිසර පද්ධතිය තුළ සාමාන්‍ය සාමාජිකයන් විසින් බෙදාගන්නා සියලුම අන්තර්ගතයන් සඳහා වගකීම ඇත්තේ එය පළ කරන සාමාජිකයාට පමණි. පළ කිරීමට පෙර, එක් එක් සාමාජිකයා විසින් බෙදාගනු ලබන තොරතුරුවල නිරවද්‍යතාව, සත්‍යතාව සහ විශ්වසනීයත්වය සහතික කළ යුතුය. කරුණු, මූලාශ්‍ර සහ ඔවුන්ගේ අන්තර්ගතයේ ඇති ඕනෑම ප්‍රකාශයක් සත්‍යාපනය කිරීම පළ කරන සාමාජිකයාගේ යුතුකමයි. දැනුවත්ව, නොසැලකිලිමත් ලෙස, හෝ අන්තර්ගතය සම්පූර්ණයෙන් අවබෝධ කර නොගෙන මෙම ලේඛනයේ 3 වන හෝ 4 වන වගන්තිය උල්ලංඝනය කරන ද්‍රව්‍ය බෙදාගැනීම මෙම නියම සහ කොන්දේසිවල බරපතල උල්ලංඝනයක් ලෙස සලකනු ලැබේ. දැනුවත්භාවය හෝ චේතනාව නොමැති වීම, අනුකූල නොවීම සඳහා වලංගු නිදහසට කරුණක් ලෙස නොසැලකේ. පරිසර පද්ධතිය තුළ පළ කරන සාමාජිකයා විසින් AI-නිර්මිත අන්තර්ගතයේ නිරවද්‍යතාව, විශ්වසනීයත්වය සහ මෙම නියම සහ කොන්දේසිවලට අනුකූල වීම පිළිබඳ සම්පූර්ණ වගකීම දරනු ලැබේ (මෙම ලේඛනයේ 3.1 වගන්තියේ ඇති AI-නිර්මිත අන්තර්ගත සමඟ කියවිය යුතුය).

මූලාශ්‍ර සත්‍යාපනය: සාමාජිකයන් විසින් ඔවුන් බෙදාගන්නා සියලුම අන්තර්ගතයන් අදාළ ආයතනයේ නිල වෙබ් අඩවි, සත්‍යාපිත සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ගිණුම් හෝ බලයලත් සන්නිවේදන නාලිකා (උදා: සත්‍යාපිත WhatsApp නාලිකා) වැනි විශ්වාසනීය සහ නීත්‍යානුකූල මූලාශ්‍රවලින් ලබාගත් ඒවා බව සහතික කළ යුතුය. සාමාජිකයන් විසින් තෙවන පාර්ශවයන්ගෙන් ලැබුණු අන්තර්ගතයන් එහි සත්‍යතාව මුලින්ම සත්‍යාපනය නොකර අන්ධ ලෙස ඉදිරියට යැවීම සපුරා තහනම්ය. විශේෂයෙන් විශ්වාසදායක සංවිධානවල වෙළෙඳ නාම, ලාංඡන හෝ සමානකම් වැරදි ලෙස භාවිතා කරන අසත්‍ය හෝ නොමඟ යවන සුළු ද්‍රව්‍ය බහුලව දක්නට ලැබෙන අතර ඒවා සත්‍ය ලෙස පෙනෙන්නට පුළුවන. මූලාශ්‍රයේ පෙනෙන විශ්වසනීයත්වය කුමක් වුවත්, සමූහය තුළ අන්තර්ගතය පළ කරන සාමාජිකයා එහි නිරවද්‍යතාව, නීත්‍යානුකූලභාවය සහ මෙම නියම සහ කොන්දේසිවලට අනුකූල වීම පිළිබඳ සම්පූර්ණ වගකීම දරයි.

6. Ceylon Investors හි බුද්ධිමය දේපළ අයිතිවාසිකම්

Ceylon Investors හි සියලුම ලාංඡන, වෙළෙඳ නාම හඳුනාගැනීම් සහ දෘශ්‍ය වත්කම් Ceylon Investors හි සුවිශේෂී දේපළ වන අතර අදාළ බුද්ධිමය දේපළ සහ ප්‍රකාශන හිමිකම් නීති යටතේ ආරක්ෂා කර ඇත. මෙම වත්කම් අනවසරයෙන් භාවිත කිරීම, ප්‍රතිනිෂ්පාදනය කිරීම හෝ අනුකරණය කිරීම සපුරා තහනම්ය. Ceylon Investors විසින් නිර්මාණය කරන ලද සහ රචනා කරන ලද සියලුම අන්තර්ගතයන් Ceylon Investors හි එකම දේපළ ලෙස පවතී. එවැනි අන්තර්ගතයන් ප්‍රකාශන හිමිකම් මගින් ආරක්ෂා කර ඇති අතර සුවිශේෂී අයිතිවාසිකම් දරයි. සාමාජිකයන් පහත සඳහන් දේවලින් දැඩි ලෙස තහනම් වේ:
